Curl-Curl Climbing

This page is dedicated to the climbing around CurlCurl beach, and yes there is lots. So far three good areas have been developed with lots of bouldering: Travers Wall (main), Rainbow Cave and the brand new WaveCave, courtesy of Dan. The name comes from the wave that nearly washed us out to sea when we first went there so watch the tides for climbing at the WaveCave. Pictures, Guide and Videos below.

So far there are a few eliminates on good pockets: B,C,D with a number of possible sequences. There are also two long traverses both incomplete A and E. Linkup is possible but you need to be pretty strong. The high traverse needs more spotters and crashpads before it can be completed. There are still some gems left for climbers who love wet holds, coarse rock and the occasional wipe out wave.
