Some weekends are a lot crazier than others. Some even go way beyond the Richter scale with a series of “fortunate” event coinciding all on the same awesome day. Why spend several precious weekends when you can cramp it all into one.  So August 02, 2019 - August 04, 2019 was when it all came together. Double-bookings are not even getting close; its more like an earthquake triggers a tsunami: so we had a weekend in the mountains planned for farewelling Nola, Bryan with Oli and Leo heading to Italy for a year on an overseas adventure, but discovered that it was the twins grand final soccer tournament on the same weekend. The a long lost Japanese friend “Nobu” decided to visit – you guessed it on the same weekend. What can you do – you just go with the flow and see what happens. Nobu and I go back a long time - way before the Dark Ages, before Australia, in another country on another continent when youth was still my best friend and my most prized possession was my sense of adventure. Japan was a different time and place, where I met Louise and my life changed forever, but what good does it to reminisce, it is but a walking shadow a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage and then is heard no more; it is a tale full of sound and fury, told by an idiot - signifying nothing at all . So lets just move forward forever and forever ......
